Ava Moore, a transsexual character that created much drama during Season 2 of Nip/Tuck is going to resurface again in Season 6. The character is again going to be enacted by Famke Jannsen, who had portrayed the role earlier also. During Season 2 of Nip/Tuck, the actress definitely enthralled the fans of the show with her wonderful portrayal of the character that had grey shades.

There are some characters that are so realistically enacted, that we start recognizing the actors by the character name. Ava Moore was one such character.  I hated the character for its persistent acts of taking advantage of the emotionally weak people for her own amusement. Also the character was involved in ruining life of Sean McNamara, Matt and even her son Adrian.

Before watching the character of Ava Moore in Nip/Tuck I had only heard of child sex abuse. But after seeing its graphical depiction in second season of Nip/Tuck I really became more aware of this deep rooted social evil. Since then I have been posting my views on this controversial topic.

Since Nip/Tuck inspired me towards this new thought process I feel maybe this time around as well the character of Ava Moore will be a medium for others to become aware of this evil prevalent in society and raise a strong voice against it. I will be even happier in case more people who support the cause against child sexual abuse, start posting their views on the far reaching medium of internet. I want to end by thanking Famke Jannesen for playing character of Ava Moore and igniting this fire inside my heart.

We all are familiar with Ryan Murphy Right??? Well for those who are not aware of who Ryan Murphy is, this genius of a man created our very favorite show Nip/Tuck. He really is one brave dude who stepped on to a very unfamiliar form of humor, two plastic surgeons handling some very weird patients.

News was going around already that Ryan Murphy would be coming up with a new show soon. And now reports have poured in that his new comedy show would be about glee clubs in high-schools. The Fox network has shown full confidence in Murphy, as they have signed a deal for thirteen episodes of ‘Glee’, which would be a musical comedy about a teacher who is the head of a high-school’s glee club.

Now this is news. Isn’t it? This show looks so very different from the earlier work of his at Nip/Tuck. But then that is where his bravery lies. Doesn’t it???

Ok, let me divulge some more details. At Mckinley High School, Will Schuester [the character would be enacted by Matthew Morrison] has a daunting task ahead of him, to return the glee club of the school to the peak of glory, where it once was. For this purpose he has a team of some very interesting members such as a nerdy soprano, a stuttering soloist, amateur songsters etc.

I think the theme sounds good.
More would be known when Glee debuts in 2009.
But I feel that this show would be great. At least the theme sounds good.
But the challenge would be to reach up to the popularity of Murphy’s earlier creation Nip/Tuck.

Hey guys, isn’t that wonderful news. To tell you the truth I was not surprised by the news at all. No, its not that I don’t like the show anymore, in fact I love the show more than ever. It is just that the creators of Nip/Tuck know very well how popular the show is and they had no other option but to come back with a brand new season. So let me tell you something more about the new season. The season will premiere on 6^th January 2009 and will have a total of 13 episodes. The guest stars who will be appearing on the show this season include Sharon Gless, Portia de Rossi, Anna Lynne McCord, Bradley Cooper, John Schneider, Jennifer Coolidge, Morgan Fairchild and Katee Sackoff. The show will now trace the lives of the two main characters as they settle into a new life in Los Angeles.

The controversial show revolves around the lives of Dr. Sean McNamara and Dr. Christian Troy, a pair of plastic surgeons who moved to Los Angeles in season five. It tells their story as one of them is trying to keep his marriage together and the other is trying to add some sex appeal to his life. It is a comedy drama which is downright addictive and keeps the audience glued to their television sets.

Every episode is full of sex, drama drugs and blood plus the suspense always keeps you guessing as to what is going to happen next. When the show premiered nobody thought that it would be such a huge success and would win the hearts of millions of fans. So guys get prepared for the rollercoaster ride of the sixth season of your favorite show.

Nip/Tuck is nearing to its end!!

John Landgraf, FX President has confirmed the above statement at the Television Association Summer Press Tour, Beverly Hilton. He said, “Nip/Tuck will come to a close in early 2011”.

19 additional episodes have been planned and including these special 19 episodes, series will end at a total of 100 episodes. When John was asked ‘why they decided to bring it to an end’, he replied “he doubts any FX drama would ever run beyond 100 episodes, saying that serialized dramas have a much different storytelling model than nonserialized shows such as “Law & Order” or “CSI.” I think, they must have thought that Nip/Tuck will lose its creativity and success, if it continues after the 100 episodes. Ultimately, they put it to an end.

Currently, the series is running with season 5 and 14 episodes of this season have already been aired. Remaining episodes are set to be aired in Jan, 2009. It’s also confirmed that the Show runner Ryan Murphy will remain through the end of the season. Nip/Tuck follows the lives of two Plastic surgeons Sean McNamara and Christian Troy.

Nip/Tuck has won a Golden Globe for best drama series in 2005 and has also got several Emmy nominations. Whatever they are doing with Nip/Tuck is quite similar to what they have decided for The Shield, which is entering its final season on the network.

So, finally Nip/Tuck is on the verge of ending, let’s see how this well-received drama wraps up the things!

Let me tell you one of the most interesting parts of this medical drama series is that all the surgeries have nothing to do with the fictional aspect of the series. Yes, they are all real life surgeries shown to the viewers. The makers of the show claim that whatever surgeries that they have shown on screen have taken place in real life and are authentic. Now isn’t it interesting for all its fans. Doesn’t that make the series even more watch able and interesting?

All such things that you were never aware of could happen to your body and probably you would never know them until you have seen them on discovery channel.
