Hey friends, I know you all must be enjoying the present season of Nip/Tuck TV show. The new season, which started airing on October 14, 2009, is more about the insecurities of adulthood. This season started with effect of recession on McNamara/Troy .It depicts how the two doctors Sean and Troy struggled to keep their finances sound. Special this season was the makeover of Dr. Rowe along with some secrets unfolded. The season also put one step ahead in its adultery with cash stripped Christian planning to create a range of sex toys in collaboration with Kimber. The sixth season appears to be more of a comedy as was clear from the hilarious premiere and the episodes aired till now.

In the backdrop of recession hit situation we got to see a new phase unfold in front of us. This season in Nip/Tuck, Sean appeared to be worried due to Teddy’s carefree spending habits in a situation when the McNamara/Troy is feeling the crunch due to lack of patients in spite of their flourishing relationship. Also there was a twist in Christian-Liz relationship when she came to know the truth behind Troy’s cancer rumors and his commitment towards marriage. Thus as always Christian’s happiness knew know bounds when he got to know that Liz has hired a divorce lawyer (Barry Bostwick).  He himself also hires one (Wayne Knight).

In this last season of Nip/Tuck we got to see Sean suffering from severe insomnia and a psyched Christian. Also a new surprise in the show was when in order to counter the effects of economic downturn on McNamara/Troy the boys invited a new surgeon to practice. So the now we had one more member added to the crew of Nip/Tuck. The new surgeon was Dr. Mike Hamoui (Mario Lopez), who specializes in vaginal uplift. Ironically at one time he was their rival. Other episodes coming our way are ‘Jenny Juggs’, ‘Abigail Sullivan’ and five more to complete the first part of the season.

With the premier of the next season still more than a month away, there is little else for me to do other than reviewing the previous seasons. In case you are not aware of the fact, this season is going to be the final season of Nip/Tuck TV Show. Never mind, for I am sure the creators would soon be planning a movie or continuing the story on webisodes as that’s what happening with all the popular shows once they wind up.

It’s a wild show about the wild people on a rollercoaster ride and that’s why it fascinates normal boring people for they too secretly dream of leading such outrageous lives. And if you thought that Christian Troy is the only one who likes to get wild then I guess you need to think again. A self acclaimed “sexually adventurous” man, McMohan, who portrays Troy claims that his co-star Dylan Walsh is a bit more conservative.

Using Walsh’s conservative nature as a weapon to give him a shock of his life, Julian McMohan planted a kiss on him while filming a dream sequence for the show. This incident happened way back in 2006. McMohan got his kick when Walsh freaked out giving him ample opportunities to have fun at his expense.

McMohan said jokingly, “I don’t think he’s ever gotten it on with a guy before.”

Troy, the character McMohan plays in Nip/Tuck is as wild as the actor himself. There are numerous scenes where he shed his clothes to get up and close to the women on the show. He also has a very interesting explanation for what he did with Walsh along with an exciting idea for the show finale.

McMahon explains, “Well, firstly, it wasn’t meant to be a kiss. But I was enjoying Dylan’s discomfort so much that I went for it. I’ve always said we should finish the show with this: Someone turns on the shower, and you see footsteps going in the back door (of Sean’s house). Someone comes into the bathroom, and it’s Christian visiting Sean. These are two guys who are obsessed with each other.”

Nip/Tuck TV Show will return on 14 October 2009 for its final season.

Ava Moore, a transsexual character that created much drama during Season 2 of Nip/Tuck is going to resurface again in Season 6. The character is again going to be enacted by Famke Jannsen, who had portrayed the role earlier also. During Season 2 of Nip/Tuck, the actress definitely enthralled the fans of the show with her wonderful portrayal of the character that had grey shades.

There are some characters that are so realistically enacted, that we start recognizing the actors by the character name. Ava Moore was one such character.  I hated the character for its persistent acts of taking advantage of the emotionally weak people for her own amusement. Also the character was involved in ruining life of Sean McNamara, Matt and even her son Adrian.

Before watching the character of Ava Moore in Nip/Tuck I had only heard of child sex abuse. But after seeing its graphical depiction in second season of Nip/Tuck I really became more aware of this deep rooted social evil. Since then I have been posting my views on this controversial topic.

Since Nip/Tuck inspired me towards this new thought process I feel maybe this time around as well the character of Ava Moore will be a medium for others to become aware of this evil prevalent in society and raise a strong voice against it. I will be even happier in case more people who support the cause against child sexual abuse, start posting their views on the far reaching medium of internet. I want to end by thanking Famke Jannesen for playing character of Ava Moore and igniting this fire inside my heart.

Nip/Tuck is the story of two Miami based plastic surgeons; Sean McNamara and Christian Troy, both of them work together but have a completely different way of dealing with things. We all are familiar with Ryan Murphy Right??? Well for those who are not aware of who Ryan Murphy is, this genius of a man created our very favorite show Nip/Tuck. He really is one brave dude who stepped on to a very unfamiliar form of humor, two plastic surgeons handling some very weird patients.

News was going around already that Ryan Murphy would be coming up with a new show soon. And now reports have poured in that his new comedy show would be about glee clubs in high-schools. The Fox network has shown full confidence in Murphy, as they have signed a deal for thirteen episodes of ‘Glee’, which would be a musical comedy about a teacher who is the head of a high-school’s glee club.

Now this is news. Isn’t it? This show looks so very different from the earlier work of his at Nip/Tuck. But then that is where his bravery lies. Doesn’t it???

Ok, let me divulge some more details. At Mckinley High School, Will Schuester [the character would be enacted by Matthew Morrison] has a daunting task ahead of him, to return the glee club of the school to the peak of glory, where it once was. For this purpose he has a team of some very interesting members such as a nerdy soprano, a stuttering soloist, amateur songsters etc.

A very interesting team no?
I think the theme sounds good.
More would be known when Glee debuts in 2009.
But I feel that this show would be great. At least the theme sounds good.
But the challenge would be to reach up to the popularity of Murphy’s earlier creation Nip/Tuck.

Hey guys, isn’t that wonderful news. To tell you the truth I was not surprised by the news at all. No, its not that I don’t like the show anymore, in fact I love the show more than ever. It is just that the creators of Nip/Tuck know very well how popular the show is and they had no other option but to come back with a brand new season. So let me tell you something more about the new season. The season will premiere on 6^th January 2009 and will have a total of 13 episodes. The guest stars who will be appearing on the show this season include Sharon Gless, Portia de Rossi, Anna Lynne McCord, Bradley Cooper, John Schneider, Jennifer Coolidge, Morgan Fairchild and Katee Sackoff. The show will now trace the lives of the two main characters as they settle into a new life in Los Angeles.

The controversial show revolves around the lives of Dr. Sean McNamara and Dr. Christian Troy, a pair of plastic surgeons who moved to Los Angeles in season five. It tells their story as one of them is trying to keep his marriage together and the other is trying to add some sex appeal to his life. It is a comedy drama which is downright addictive and keeps the audience glued to their television sets.

Every episode is full of sex, drama drugs and blood plus the suspense always keeps you guessing as to what is going to happen next. When the show premiered nobody thought that it would be such a huge success and would win the hearts of millions of fans. So guys get prepared for the rollercoaster ride of the sixth season of your favorite show.

In the contemporary fashion world everybody is keen to change one’s looks. Since the time, Plastic surgery has become popular; people are crazy to change even not so ugly portions of their bodies. This has now become a fashion and more than this a status symbol.

On “Nip\Tuck”, Sean and Christian Troy hold the same duty of amending the worst creations of God. Though most of the times, Beautiful creations of God spoiled by the human beings. Once, Sean himself got a deep cut on his face by a serial rapist. Don’t get shocked, Sean hasn’t got raped. Actually this serial rapist leaves deep cuts on both sides of faces of his victims, resembling a smile. He attacks upon models only. Now Sean has got the duty of turning those ruined faces into dazzling beauties once again. This makes the rapist unhappy and he revengefully, attacks upon Sean in his home. Sean got a bad cut on his right cheek. Now this is Christian’s turn to bring back the actual cool looks of his fellow doc and friend, back.

Hey have you ever seen closely the two docs. They look so dashing. In fact when they are undergoing surgeries, they look more sensuous in their tensed looks. Dylan Walsh playing Sean is undoubtedly the hot stuff of small screen. I’ll call him old wine in new bottle, and you know it that old wine is always capable to knock you down, lol. He’s 44 years old but still owns a style like a macho man in his twenties. I suppose, he will also fit perfectly in the detective’s role than a doctor. Though, I liked the docs being musclemen on “Nip\Tuck”.

If I’ll ever plan to take a plastic surgery then would definitely like being treated by this doc only. I believe his character on “Nip\Tuck” holds the credit of his esthetic looks. He has a troubled personal life, his best friend is biological father of his child, still he is just so soft with not so pretty people. Hats off to Sean.

Sean is very lucky, despite his disturbed life. What doesn’t come in his way? His loving child is the biological son of his best friend Christian, as his wife Julia had a one night stand with Christian before her wedding with Sean. Sean and she got separated and then Sean had a night stand with her and consequently one more kid and again a controversy. After all this, Sean still has space for a new love in his life. The “Charmed” fame actress Rose McGowan will be joining Nip\Tuck in the next season. She will play the role of Theodora “Teddy” Lowe, another doc, who will eventually become the love interest of Dr. Sean (Dylan Walsh).

Rose is actually replacement of Katee Sackhoff, the “Battlestar Galactica” fame, for the same role. Unfortunately Sackhoff has to leave the show for the conflicting schedule with NBC’s “Lost and Found’. Still she will appear at least for four episodes in “Nip\Tuck”.

On the other hand, Rose McGowan is known for her role of wise witch on “Charmed”. Dr. Christian(Julian McMohan) was also co-star with her in that series. Now the two are again going to workl as co-stars, this time in a medical drama. After “Charmed”, she has worked in movies like “The Black Dahlia”,”Grindhouse”, “Death Proof”, “Planet Terror” and “Fifty Dead Man Walking”. She has a few other movie projects in hand as well, but thank God not with conflicting dates schedule like Sackhoff. Let’s see how she makes the things spiced up in the next season. Till than catch full fifth season here and freshen up the old sweet memories.

Nip/Tuck season 5 was premiered on 10-30-2007 and the season opener was entitled ‘Carly Summers’. It opened with Sean and Christian as they relocated their practice from Miami to Los Angeles and got jobs as the medical consultants on a night soap opera called ‘Hearts ‘n’ Scalpels’. Next episode was entitled ‘Joyce & Sharon Monroe’. Here, we met Julia when she visited New York and introduced her boyfriend to Sean and Christian.

Then came the episode entitled ‘Everett Poe’- Eden, Olivia’s 18 year old daughter came to McNamara/Troy for a hymen reconstruction and Sean is very disturbed by her. Matt visited Los Angeles with baby Jenna and announced that he had left Kimber. Sean came to know about Kate’s secrets; meanwhile, Liz questioned Julia-Olivia relationship. Next episode was entitled ‘Dawn Budge II’. We met Dawn Budge who required the professional services of Sean and Christian after an eagle attacked her face. Christian treated a nun who has a desire to reduce the size of her breasts and also another disturbed woman. Sisterly bond between Annie and Eden unnerved Sean.

In ‘Chaz Darling’, Eden tried his best to persuade Christian to perform a surgery on her friend. Sean got an inspiration from one of his patients and thought to re-new the things with Kate. Kimber reached out to a former business associate for help when she and Matt fall on rough sledding.Next episode was entitled ‘Damien Sands’, Christian has a brilliant idea and he suggested Sean to film a reality show based on their careers as plastic surgeons but soon they discovered that people are more interested to know about their personal lives as compared to their surgical cases.

‘Dr. Joshua Lee’ brought Sean who tried to recover his youth through his relationship with Eden and his friendly relationship with Aidan Stone. A carjacker kidnapped Julia and Olivia and it caused Julia to question her relationship with Olivia. Kimber made a decision which devastated Matt. Next episode was ‘Duke Collins’- Sean discovered the secrets between Christian and Julia and Kimber and Ram revealed their future plans. Meanwhile, Eden and Julia’s peace agreement seemed suspicious. Next, came the episode, ‘Rachel Ben Natan’,Dawn Budge, ‘Hearts ‘n’ Scalpels’ producer didn’t want the show to join a gay-pride parade. Christian fell into his old habits and Sean hired a Receptionist Gina, in order to get back at Christian. An unfortunate incident led Dawn Budge to McNamara/Troy. Next episode of series was entitled ‘Magda and Jeff’- Sean’s role on ‘Hearts ‘n’ Scalpels’ is elaborated after he hired a talent agent. Julia’s illness is still a mystery and Christian rejected Gina’s initiatives when she led him through a new form of sex. An older woman appeared and she wants to have surgery done on her young hubby. Then came the episode entitled ‘Kyle Ainge’.

Next episode was ‘Lulu Grandiron’. Eden joined Kimber and Ram in business and Sean helped her. Christian is hired by a group of society woman to fulfill all their cosmetic surgery requests. Kimber and Ram invited Eden into their marriage. ‘August Walden’ leads the season finale ‘Candy Richards’. In the season finale, the reason behind Julia’s poor heath is revealed. Julia comes to know about it and as a result a tragedy strikes the McNamara/Troy family.A visitor from Christian’s past revealed some news. A deceived starlet visited McNamara/ Troy in order to fix her botched makeover, and Sean discovered the price of fame to be more expensive than its worth.

Nip/Tuck is nearing to its end!!

John Landgraf, FX President has confirmed the above statement at the Television Association Summer Press Tour, Beverly Hilton. He said, “Nip/Tuck will come to a close in early 2011”.

19 additional episodes have been planned and including these special 19 episodes, series will end at a total of 100 episodes. When John was asked ‘why they decided to bring it to an end’, he replied “he doubts any FX drama would ever run beyond 100 episodes, saying that serialized dramas have a much different storytelling model than nonserialized shows such as “Law & Order” or “CSI.” I think, they must have thought that Nip/Tuck will lose its creativity and success, if it continues after the 100 episodes. Ultimately, they put it to an end.

Currently, the series is running with season 5 and 14 episodes of this season have already been aired. Remaining episodes are set to be aired in Jan, 2009. It’s also confirmed that the Show runner Ryan Murphy will remain through the end of the season. Nip/Tuck follows the lives of two Plastic surgeons Sean McNamara and Christian Troy.

Nip/Tuck has won a Golden Globe for best drama series in 2005 and has also got several Emmy nominations. Whatever they are doing with Nip/Tuck is quite similar to what they have decided for The Shield, which is entering its final season on the network.
